Mary Fitilchyan is an Associate Attorney with Shegerian Conniff, LLP. Her practice area focuses on employment law and includes all aspects of pre-trial litigation, litigation and arbitration.
Prior to joining Shegerian Conniff, Ms. Fitilchyan worked at the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office drafting motions, reviewing evidence, and helping prepare for trials. Ms. Fitilchyan attended Southwestern Law School where she was actively engaged in the Trial Advocacy Honors Program where she served as Competitions Chair. In 2019, during her time with the Trial Advocacy Honors Program, Ms. Fitilchyan competed in the American Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Law National Trial Competition where she and her team finished in the semi-finals.
In addition to being involved in the Trial Advocacy Honors Program, Ms. Fitilchyan was also an active member of the Armenian Law Students Association, a student editor for the Journal of International Media and Entertainment Law, and a teaching assistant.
Ms. Fitilchyan attended California State University Northridge (CSUN) where she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology. While at CSUN, Ms. Fitilchyan was a judicial intern who was assigned to a superior court judge in the Van Nuys Courthouse in Los Angeles to observe daily court proceedings. In addition, Ms. Fitilchyan was also a JusticeCorps member who assisted self-represented clients with obtaining and completing dissolutions, petitions for paternity, child support, and domestic violence restraining orders.
